Alwar . The protest against the demolition of temples, houses, shops in Rajgarh in the district and demolition of Gaushala in Kathumar is becoming vocal. A Jan Aakrosh rally was taken out on behalf of the Hindu society against the Gehlot government on Wednesday. A large number of sages and saints participated in the rally.
The rally started from Shaheed Smarak at Company Bagh. Which reached the collectorate via the main market of the city and various routes. Before the rally, a meeting of all the society and saints was held at the martyr memorial. After that, hundreds of people reached the collectorate in the form of a rally. Slogans like Jai Shri Ram, Bharat Mata ki Jai etc. were raised in the rally. Along with this, placards written with the slogan ‘Hindustan will not tolerate insult on Hindus’ were seen in the hands of the people. In view of the rally, barricading was done by the police at the collectorate gate. Also, heavy police force was deployed on the spot. The police barricaded the protesters and prevented them from entering the collectorate. After this, under the leadership of prominent people of Hindu society and saints, a memorandum was submitted to the District Collector in the name of the Governor. In the memorandum, a demand was made to restore the temples and stop playing with Hindu faith.
Demand for reconstruction of temple in memorandum
It has been said in the memorandum that the religious sentiments of the Hindu society have been hurt due to the demolition of ancient Shiva temples. Due to the destruction of the houses and shops of the common man, people have been forced to live under the open sky on the streets. Strict action should be taken in the matter by registering an FIR directly against the executive officer of Rajgarh Municipality, Rajgarh and Rajgarh SDM.
In the memorandum, expressing anger over the action of demolishing the Gaushala, it has been said that Shri Hanuman Gaushala Samiti has been operating in Maithna, Kathumar for many years. There were about 500 cows in it. The administration destroyed the construction of the cowshed by running a bulldozer. The cows saved their lives by running here and there and some cows have died. Cows are suffering from hunger and thirst due to lack of fodder and water. The fears of cow slaughter of the cow mother wandering in the forest have increased. In both these cases, the district officials remained mute spectators and no cognizance was taken on time, irresponsible behavior is also condemnable. Therefore, strict action has been demanded against the culprits.
Alwar MP Baba Balak Nath said that through the memorandum, a demand has been made for the immediate reconstruction of the temple, along with the reconstruction of the broken cowshed in Maithon of Kathumar and action against the guilty officials. He said that the Rajasthan government is doing the politics of appeasement. The entire society has come out on the road in protest against this.
City MLA said incident is unfortunate
Alwar city MLA Sanjay Sharma said that strict action should be taken against the Rajgarh MLA in the Rajgarh incident. Old temples and shops and houses were demolished in the presence of police. The idols of the god were broken. This is unfortunate. Due to this incident, there is resentment against the government among Hindus across the country. He said that the law and order system of the Gehlot government has failed in the entire Rajasthan.
During this a large number of Hindu society dignitaries including Ramhet Yadav, Mohit Yadav, Mahant Roopnath Maharaj, Pandit Jalesingh, Mahasingh Chaudhary, Jitendra Rathod, Satish Yadav were present.
This is the cause of outrage
On April 17, the Rajgarh Municipality of Darsal district had demolished 300-year-old temples, dharamsalas and people’s houses, shops in the name of removing encroachments. Since then, since the video of the incident went viral on social media, there is outrage not only from the district to the state but also in the country. The Gehlot government is being accused of appeasement. The matter has also reached the High Court. Advocate Prakash Thakuria has made Ashok Gehlot, MLA Johri Lal Meena and others as parties in the petition filed in the High Court. The reason for the action is stated to be political malice. A judicial inquiry has been demanded for this.
