Rangbhari Ekadashi 2022: Ekadashi fasting is very important in Hinduism. Ekadashi fasting is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Falgun month is called Rangbhari Ekadashi. Rangbhari Ekadashi is one such Ekadashi of the year in which Lord Shiva is worshipped. This year Rangbhari Ekadashi will be celebrated on March 13. This festival is falling on Sunday, six days before Holi. On the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi, Shiva devotees celebrate this festival with great pomp. On this day Mahadev and Mother Parvati were brought to Kashi. Maa Parvati is given a grand welcome in Kashi on this day. In this happiness, devotees sprinkle colors and gulal. This festival lasts for six days.
Colorful Ekadashi auspicious time
According to the Hindu calendar, Rangbhari Ekadashi will start from 10.21 am on March 13 to 12.05 am on March 14. The auspicious time of worship is from 12.07 pm to 12.54 pm. Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain on March 13 from 06.32 am to 10.08 pm. Pushya Nakshatra is till 10.08 pm.
Rangbhari Ekadashi Worship Method
According to the beliefs, on the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi, Lord Shiva returned to Kashi after marrying and Mata Parvati. On this day, after taking a bath in the morning, have taken a vow to fast. Then fill water in a pot and offer it to Shivling. Also offer sandalwood and bel leaves to Shankar. Then apply Abir and Gulal and pray to Mahadev.
Amla tree is worshiped
Gooseberry tree is also worshiped on the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi. Hence Rangbhari Ekadashi is also called Amalaki Ekadashi. Worshiping on this day brings health and good luck to the natives.
