Yash has now become the third Indian cricketer to score centuries in both the innings of his Ranji Trophy debut. Apart from them, Nari Contractor (152 & 102) did this feat for Gujarat in 1952/53 and Virag Swathe (126 & 112) for Maharashtra in 2012/13.

Right-handed batsman Yash has now become the seventh Delhi cricketer to score a century in both the innings of a Ranji Trophy match. The last time Rishabh Pant did this feat for Delhi.
SM Qadri was the first batsman to score a century in both the innings of Ranji Trophy. He scored 105 and 114 runs. In the match played between Bombay and Western India in December 1935, Qadri scored a century in both the innings for Bombay.
