New Delhi. The final match of the second season of the Women’s Premier League took place on 17 March between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning decided to bat first. However, his team failed to take advantage of the opportunity and collapsed for just 113 runs. In this final, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team dominated from the beginning till the end and ultimately created history by defeating Delhi Capitals.
