Amidst rising petrol prices in Bihar, an electricity worker is doing a unique job. When he was unable to drive due to the cost of petrol, he made the horse his ride. This employee of the electricity department is now going to cut and collect the electricity bill by climbing a horse.
The incident is of Sheohar district of Bihar. The work of Abhijeet Tiwari, an employee of the electricity department, is to collect bills from village to village. Earlier he used to use bike for this work, but due to the huge increase in oil prices, he is now unable to recover the bill from the bike. That’s why he is going on tours of the villages to collect the bill from the horse. His style has become a topic of discussion in the whole area.
According to the information received, Abhijeet has to go to six to seven villages for the bill. Talking to the media, Abhijeet said that earlier, when he was walking on a bike, he was spending around Rs 200, while on a horse he has to spend 60 to 70 rupees.
A video of cutting electricity bill on a horse is also going viral, in which Abhijeet is seen sitting on a horse and people are coming there to get their bills deducted and deposited. On this matter, the electricity department says that it is the decision of the employees that how they go to collect the bill, the department has no role in this.
A few days back, a similar case had also come to the fore in Maharashtra. Where a person, being troubled by the rising prices of petrol every day, started going to the office by horse instead of bike.
Let us tell you that the price of oil has been increasing for the last several days. This growth was halted during the recently concluded assembly elections in five states, which is now increasing continuously. The opposition is also putting the Modi government in the dock regarding this issue.
