After more than a year of farmers’ agitation over three agricultural laws, the farmers, who were calm on the assurance of the government’s return of law and the formation of a committee on MSP, have now announced to hit the road again. A section of farmers says they will not keep quiet till their demand for guaranteed minimum support price for agricultural products is met. On Tuesday, some farmers’ organizations have announced to form a new front in this regard. The front says that they will launch an agitation. To make farmers aware, all the districts of every state of the country will be visited in six months.

Shetty said, “We will launch an agitation under the banner of MSP Guaranty Kisan Morcha. In the next six months, we will visit every district of every state to create awareness about MSP.” Rampal Jat from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Balraj Singh from Punjab, Raja Ram Singh from Jharkhand and others were present in the meeting.
