A shocking accident happened in the year 2018 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. After which everyone thought that maybe a death happened in a normal way but within a few days this death turned into a murder. Then the Rajasthan Police took action by taking action in the matter. The case was related to a bike rally in which an international biker was killed.
Asbak was a resident of Kannur in Kerala who had been living in RT Nagar, Bengaluru for a few days. He had arrived in Jaisalmer in 2018 to participate in the biker Asbak Indian Baja Motorsports Dakar Challenge rally from Kerala. During the same bike rally, on August 15, 2018, Asbak went on a ride with his friends after a day watching the riding track at Shahgarh Bulge. In the meantime, Asbak deviated from the riding track, after which he did not return.
Then two days after the incident, the body of Asbak Mon was recovered. Asbak’s bike was parked at the designated spot at the spot and his helmet was kept on the bike. Then after investigation in the incident, the police also prepared the final report that the biker lost his way in the Asbak desert and then died of natural death due to hunger and thirst. In this final report the statements of his friends were also recorded, who accompanied him to Jaisalmer.
For many years no lead was found in the case, then the file was sent to the SP to close it and only then there was a twist in the case. When the SP read the postmortem report, he was shocked. It was written that half-digested food was found in the stomach of the deceased and the neck and spine were broken. In such a situation, the matter of dying of hunger went wrong and the then SP Ajay Singh reopened the case. In this case, the call records of Asbak’s wife Sumaira and her friends were searched.
Investigation of the case revealed that Asbak’s wife Sumaira had an affair with a person by the name of Neeraj. At the same time, Asbak had a dispute with Sumaira due to the property. The police felt that’s why Sumera did not suspect anyone. When Asbak’s mother also raised questions about the death, three of Asbak’s friends were also suspicious. Then the police arrested three friends Sanjay, Vishwas and Sabik from Bangalore on the basis of solid evidence.
During police interrogation in November 2020, the trio confessed to the crime that Asbak’s neck and spine were attacked with a heavy iron weapon and thrown down a sand dune. After this, Asbak’s phone was also taken away by his friend Sanjay. However, Sumaira went missing despite several warrants and the search for her is on for many years. It was then believed that this murder was the result of a love triangle and greed for property.
