A painful accident happened in the country’s capital Delhi on Friday night. A fire broke out in a slum in Gokulpuri area, in which seven people lost their lives. According to a Delhi Fire Service statement, the fire has been brought under control, while seven bodies have been recovered by the fire department.
North East Delhi ADCP Devash Kumar Pandey told reporters about the incident, “Around one o’clock we got the information about the fire. We then reached the spot and informed the fire department. The fire was brought under control around four o’clock. 30 shanties have been burnt to ashes and seven people have died in the accident.
It was told by the DCP of North East Delhi that 15 fire tenders were sent to the spot for relief and rescue work. Seven bodies have been recovered from the rubble, while proper food and shelter are being made for those who are being rescued and rescued.
