The BJP is once again seen registering a massive victory in Uttar Pradesh. The ruling BJP is leading in 269 seats, while the opposition Samajwadi Party is leading in 129 seats, according to the early trends of the election for 403 seats. Many ministers of Yogi government were successful in registering easy victory in this election, while some ministers have also faced defeat.
Brajesh Pathak defeated Samajwadi Party candidate from Lucknow Cantt seat. Brajesh Pathak defeated Surendra Singh Gandhi by a margin of more than 30 thousand votes. Anil Rajbhar, who was a minister in the Yogi government, won from Shivpur seat of Varanasi. He defeated Arvind Rajbhar, son of SubhaSP chief OP Rajbhar.
Minister Ashutosh Tandon from Lucknow East is leading by more than 55 thousand votes over his nearest rival. In this way, he has made a decisive lead over SP spokesperson Anurag Bhadauria. Minister Shrikant Sharma is also leading from Mathura. Sharma has taken a decisive lead against his nearest candidate with 156,300 votes.
Minister Siddharth Nath is also leading over the SP candidate from Allahabad West. Siddharth Nath Singh got 102464 votes while SP candidate Richa Singh got 69909 votes. In this way he is leading by more than 30 thousand votes. Minister Satish Mahana has won from Maharajpur seat of Kanpur. He defeated his nearest candidate Fateh Bahadur Singh Gill of SP.
Surya Pratap Shahi has made a decisive lead from Deoria’s Pathardeva seat. He is leading over SP candidate Brahmshankar Tripathi by nearly 25 thousand votes. At the same time, some ministers have also faced defeat. Rajendra Pratap Singh Moti Singh has lost the election from Patti seat of Pratapgarh. He was defeated by Ram Singh of SP.
Anand Swaroop Shukla, who is contesting from Ballia’s Bairia assembly seat, has lost the election. He was defeated by JP Anchal of Samajwadi Party. The party had given ticket to Shukla from Bairia instead of Ballia Sadar, but this bet did not work for the party. At the same time, another minister Upendra Tiwari lost from Phephna seat to Sangram Singh Yadav of SP. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has lost the election from Sirathu assembly seat. SP candidate Pallavi Patel defeated KP Maurya. Pallavi Patel is the sister of Union Minister Anupriya Patel.
