In the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party alliance has faced a crushing defeat in front of the ruling BJP. SP’s ally SubhaSP has won 6 seats and party’s President Omprakash Rajbhar was successful in winning the election from Zahoorabad. After winning the election, OP Rajbhar while talking to the media said that the people of Zahoorabad have given him a chance to become an MLA for 5 years. He said that the people here thought for their basic facilities and got them victory, for which they fought for five years.
While talking to ABP Ganga, OP Rajbhar said on the results of the elections that he understood only after the first phase that he was defeated. He said, ‘But how could you have said earlier? At the same time, on his statements, Rajbhar said that there were 6 phases of elections left, so he used to say all this.
Meanwhile, an ‘arithmetic’ of OP Rajbhar has also surfaced on the basis of which he was claiming to win the election. During a conversation with ABP News, when he was asked whether the three castes together would form the government of the SP coalition? To this Rajbhar had replied, “If we talk about Purvanchal, 19 percent Muslims and 12 percent Yadavs… this together became 31 percent. Add 12 per cent Rajbhar to it.”
The SubhaSP chief said, “We are 4 per cent in 100 seats and our percentage is calculated on 400 seats. If 100 seats come then 12 percent. So add 31 and 12, how much is it? Where are we losing? Apart from this, 15 percent of the votes in the remaining accept the BSP. 4 percent accept the vote of Congress. One percent of the other, how much vote was left after that?”
At the same time, while talking to the media after the results of the assembly elections, Rajbhar said, “We fought on the issue of education, health, stray animals, employment. Every party, every front makes efforts to form the government. Somewhere we have some shortcoming, there is a proverb that failure is a sign that we did not try wholeheartedly for success, somewhere our weakness remained that we should share our thoughts, our thinking among the public. could not reach. We will study and consider this again.”
