A case of a husband killing his wife has come to light in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. The accused husband had killed his wife just because she was asking her to buy a saree on the occasion of Chhath. The accused husband shot his wife with the gun of his father, retired from the army.
According to detailed information, Anuradha Mishra, 27-year-old daughter of Arjun Mishra, a resident of Payasi village of Bhatni police station area of Deoria, was married to Narendra Tiwari four years ago. Both had a one-year-old handicapped daughter from their marriage. Police sources revealed that there was a dispute going on between the accused husband and his wife Anuradha for the last few days.
Anuradha was also demanding a sari from her husband for her Tilakotsav to be held on November 19.On Tuesday, husband Narendra bought clothes for himself and if not for his wife, the wife got very angry and started fighting with her husband. When Anuradha asked for her husband’s phone to talk to her maternal home, the husband did not give it and hid his phone. Meanwhile, in anger, Narendra shot his wife with his father’s gun.Hearing the sound of bullets, when people in and around the house reached there, they found Anuradha in a pool of blood. The incident was immediately informed to the police and the police came and took the accused husband into custody.
