It has been only two weeks since Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as the Chief Minister again in Uttar Pradesh and the Yogi government is continuously taking big decisions. Now the Yogi government has taken a big decision regarding the ration card, under which more than 3 crore 60 lakh people of Uttar Pradesh will be benefited. This is considered to be a big step in the direction of ‘One Nation-One Card’.
After taking oath, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a meeting with the top officials of the state and instructed them to submit a 100-day action plan to them. The state government has decided that it will provide digital locker facility to about 3 crore 60 lakh ration card holders of the state. The Department of Information Technology has started work regarding this and has also included it in its action plan.
What will be the benefits?: Ration card holders will get many benefits through Digital Locker. Many times the Kotedar refuses to give ration, stating the lack of the ration card, but after the arrival of the digital locker, he will not be able to do so. At the same time, through digital locker, any person can take his share of ration anywhere in the country. Also, once the facility of digital locker is available, there will be no fear of loss or damage to the ration card.
Through the digital locker, people and the government will easily know when and how much ration they have been able to get. A digital locker is a virtual locker in which a person can keep his/her important ID card safe. Aadhar card is necessary to create an account in this, in which you can keep all your important documents and there is no fear of losing it.
