The beauty of T-3 road from Dhaula Kuan increased
The beauty of the eight-kilometer road connecting Dhaula Kuan to Terminal-3 of the airport is now being built on sight. This road makes the journey many times more beautiful. Keeping in mind the visit of the delegates coming to the G-20 summit, the work of beautification has been completed by the LG along with NHAI on this road. Now the work of improving other roads on the same lines has started.
This road connects many routes
This road is very important for the passengers going towards Jaipur, Gurugram, Dwarka, Najafgarh and the airport. The beautification work of this road started in July 2022. According to LG VK Saxena, the purpose of enhancing the beauty of this road is not only G-20, but it will make the capital clean and green forever. The beautification was funded by the NHI and the estimated cost is around Rs 22 crore. He told that when the road was cleaned, about 200 truckloads of garbage came out of it. Now the place of this garbage has been converted into Greenery. This road belongs to NHAI, so he sought help from Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for this project. They gave the funds and now the results are there for all to see.
how beauty grew
To enhance the beauty of the road, the gardening on both sides of the road was upgraded here. Pedestrian facilities have been increased, existing facilities like FOB and Grill have been improved. Apart from this fountain, artworks have also been installed here. LED screens have also been installed here with benches, color lights, scrolling screens on the walls. Many types of fountains have been installed here. This sparkling fountain looks more attractive in the night. Artifacts prepared from the stones of Rajasthan have been installed. 600 lanterns have been fitted. During the programme, the women of Mahram Nagar village, adjacent to the airport, placed the demand of the park before the LG. He said that there is not a single park in the village. On this the LG assured them that a park for women would be developed on the roadside green area.
