Jerusalem: The biggest relief news so far has come to light during the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Compared to earlier, there is now more flexibility in Israel’s stance. Israel said on Friday that it was taking steps to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, including reopening a border in badly affected northern Gaza. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced the plans.
Israel made a big announcement
This announcement from Israel has been made after the phone conversation between US President Joe Biden and Netanyahu. Earlier, there was a conversation between the two leaders on phone. During the conversation, the US President made his stance clear, saying that future US support for the war in Gaza will depend on Israel taking more steps to protect civilians and aid workers. At present, the announcement made by Israel did not specify which items would be allowed to enter and in what quantity.
America’s support to Israel continues
Meanwhile, it is also important to note that, despite the differences, the Biden administration has continued to provide significant military assistance and diplomatic support to Israel for Israel’s war against Hamas. Israel is facing international isolation after seven aid workers were killed while helping deliver food to Gaza. Gaza’s health ministry said Thursday the death toll in Palestine rose to more than 33,000, while 75,600 others were injured. (AP)
