Sharma was presiding over the meeting on Friday for the Vision Document prepared to achieve the goals of Rajasthan-2047 developed at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister said that the famous Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had introduced the vision of ‘developed India-2047’ in his address of Independence Day. A State Level Steering Committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to create a vision document for Rajasthan-2047 developed in the context of its four major resolutions. He said that while preparing the roadmap of developed Rajasthan-2047, 45 major departments of the state have been divided into 14 sectors. This document of development of the state has been prepared after receiving suggestions from NITI Aayog on the Vision Document prepared by coordination of all departments.
The upcoming state budget will be the mirror of the concept of developed Rajasthan
Sharma said that we had introduced 10 resolutions during the state budget 2024-25. The outline of developed Rajasthan has been prepared by making these resolutions the basis. For this, the major targets of various departments have been set on the basis of four themes of development. He said that the upcoming budget of the state will also be a mirror of the concept of Rajasthan. Mr. Sharma said that we have to proceed on the path of development in a phased manner, determining the priority for achieving the goals of the year 2047. For this, we will have to take firm steps by preparing the roadmap for development till the year 2030. He said that the vision document should be prepared in simple language and conveyed to the common man and after receiving their invaluable suggestions, they should include them in this document.
Migration stopped from villages to cities
The Chief Minister said that we need to keep balance in the overall development journey of the state. He said that by removing the imbalance of development of urban and rural areas, we have to meet major needs like education, water, electricity, roads, health, employment in rural areas, which stops migration of rural population towards cities and reduces increasing pressure on cities. Mr. Sharma said that we should develop natural resources by consciously and planned, so that future generations do not lack resources.
Public transport should be encouraged more and more
Sharma said that the pressure on the transport sector will also increase with changing times and increasing population. In such a situation, we have to ensure better traffic management by encouraging public transport more and more. He said that by setting up mineral -based industrial units close to the respective mining sector, we can reduce environmental pollution along with saving the cost of transport. During the discussion on the targets of the tourism sector, he said that there are probably no other possibilities in the tourism sector in Rajasthan. He directed to prepare an action plan to make Shekhawati region a major tourist center, developing Shekhawati’s havelis from tourism point of view. Also, he also directed to increase the number of hotels and resorts for tourists staying, promoting religious tourism.
Reviewing the goals related to PHED, the Chief Minister said that we are completely dependent on nature for water, its savings are the supply. Water crisis can be avoided by increasing the planned management of rainwater and by increasing the water recharge capacity of the land. He said that for this, there is a need to encourage campaigns like ‘Karmabhoomi to Matrubhoomi’. Also, water consumption can be reduced by using sewerage treated water for works like horticulture, cleaning, washing.
During this period, the officials of various departments involved in the State Steering Committee, the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office and the concerned officials were present.
