Baliya. ATS team from Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh has got a big success. Actually, the Varanasi unit of ATS has arrested two Rohingyas from Ballia on Tuesday. According to the investigating agency, the accused used to bring Rohingyas from Myanmar and Bangladesh to India and then send them abroad. The arrested accused have been identified as Md Arman alias Abu Talha and Abdul Ameen, both residents of Myanmar. Illegally made Indian citizenship papers, his and another Rohingya’s Indian passport, Aadhaar card, foreign currency, Saudi Arabian mobile and SIM, iPhone with Indian SIM were recovered from Mohammad Arman. At the same time, separate documents issued for Rohingya refugees have been received from Abdul Amin.
According to information, the Varanasi unit of UP ATS had received information that Rohingyas enter India illegally from Myanmar and Bangladesh. After this, after preparing fake passports and other documents related to Indian citizenship in Ballia, they go abroad. The responsibility of its investigation has been entrusted to Inspector Bharat Bhushan Tiwari under the leadership of Deputy SP Vipin Rai of Varanasi unit of UP ATS.
Let us tell you that during the investigation of UP ATS, it was revealed that Mohammad Arman would come to Ballia on Tuesday with the help of his associates to get Indian citizenship paper of Abdul Amin, a Rohingya who crossed the Myanmar-India border illegally. On the basis of this information, the ATS arrested both of them from Gandhi Nagar ground under Kotwali police station area of Ballia. ATS officers told that they are looking for the people who gave shelter to Mohammad Armaan in Ballia and his associates. Soon there may be more revelations in this matter.
