“Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the International Judo Federation has dismissed Vladimir Putin as its Honorary President and Ambassador,” the International Judo Federation said in a statement.

Putin, 69, is a blackbelt in juto. He practices Judo regularly. Along with this, he has also been a co-author of a book written on Judo. The name of this book is Judo: History, Theory and Practice. Earlier, the International Judo Federation has also canceled an event to be held in May.
