Russia-Ukraine Crisis Updates: In the midst of the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine, India’s biggest concern is the students living there. The latest news is that the Government of India has started the safe return of this students. Air India’s special aircraft has reached New Delhi from Kiev. It has 240 passengers. Most are MBBS students. The flight arrived late at night. The students told how they were feeling in Ukraine amid rising tensions between the two countries. According to the students, there is still peace in Ukraine, but tension is increasing in the atmosphere. With the safe return of these students, their parents have also breathed a sigh of relief. Will avoid war, impose tough sanctions on Russia: Biden
US President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he would try to avert the war but impose tougher sanctions on Russia amid a dire situation in Ukraine after Russian President Vladimir Putin sent troops. He called the Russian move an invasion of Ukraine. Biden also made it clear in his address that in addition to trying to resolve the issue through talks, Ukraine would continue to be supplied with weapons and other military materials.
The eyes of the whole world were on the White House on Tuesday. Everyone wanted to know what is America’s stand on the Ukraine crisis. In his televised address, he announced sanctions on two Russian establishments, saying that all Western aid to Moscow would be stopped. We are taking defensive measures from our side. Describing the issue of national security as important, Biden said that we have a variety of options. We want to find a solution to the Ukraine crisis. We have had several meetings in this regard as well as talking to the President of Ukraine. He made it clear that we are committed to supporting Ukraine and will continue to try to avoid war. He also talked about protecting each and every land of NATO countries.
