– Pawan and Shantanu stranded in Ukraine return to Gwalior

It seemed that the situation would get worse. For this reason, taking the risk of his own life, he reached Lviv as soon as he left Kyiv and from there reached Poland via the border. This is to say of Pawan Solanki, who reached Gwalior on Thursday via Poland, after coming out of the war situation in Ukraine. Shantanu also reached Delhi from Poland on Thursday. From there Shantanu’s father Sandeep Bamangaya brought both the students to the city by road. There was a look of relief and happiness on the faces of relatives when they returned home. Shantanu said that the situation on Ukraine and Poland border is very difficult. There they stood for three days in -10 degree temperatures to enter Poland. Exhausted, they went back to the hostel in Lviv, but on getting information from there, they reached Poland through the second border, where full facilities and assistance were provided by the Indian Embassy.

Other Indian students, including two Gwalior students, who reached Romania and Hungary via the border, will reach Gwalior on Friday. These students took off for Delhi on Thursday evening in two different C-17 Globemaster aircraft of the IAF and they will reach Delhi late in the night. After this they will be sent to Gwalior by train or road. These two students are Ravi Kumar and Satyam Sharma, who had been waiting for their return to Romania for two days. Whereas in Romania, Prateek Chaudhary will be sent by flight two days later.

Kakul Jat, a resident of Bhitarwar, has entered the border of Poland on Thursday. He is likely to get a flight on Friday night. Similarly, Rohan Gupta has reached Budapest, the capital of Hungary. He has been accommodated in a hotel by the Indian Embassy there and will soon be sent to India by flight.
-Green corridor for students trapped in Sumi-
There is information about the construction of a green corridor from the Russia border for 500 other Indian students, including Piyush Saxena and Alisha Khan of Gwalior, trapped in Sumi. For these students, 10 buses have been sent from the Indian Embassy in Moscow to the border, but due to lack of permission from the Ukrainian government, these buses could not reach Sumy. Now it is expected that these students will be taken out safely on Friday.
