Players from Russia and Belarus have been banned from participating in the ISSF Championship. After Russia’s attack on Ukraine, all sports bodies are banning Russia and Russian players. The International Olympic Committee has also banned Russian players. After this, the ISSF has also banned players from Russia and Belarus. The International Shooting Federation has taken this step in protest against Russian military action in Ukraine.
The International Shooting Federation said in its statement: “Following the decision of the Special Board of the International Olympic Committee and meeting with the President of the Olympic Committee, the International Shooting Federation has decided not to allow players from Russia and Belarus to participate in the ISSF Championships.” This order has been given on March 1 and will remain valid till further orders.”
Constant sanctions on Russia
In view of the increasing tension between Ukraine and Russia, many sports organizations have imposed sanctions on Russia. Many events in Russia have been cancelled. The Russian Grand Prix has been cancelled. The Champions League final will also not take place in Russia. Now it will be organized in Paris. UEFA and FIFA have also banned Russia from international football. Russia will not be able to participate in any international match until further orders.
Russian President Putin attacked Ukraine on Thursday. Along with this, he warned that if anyone obstructs the actions of Russian forces in Ukraine in the country, then he will have to face such consequences which no one could have imagined.

World Taekwondo has also stripped Russian President Vladimir Putin of his honorary Black Belt title. Along with this, the top organization associated with Taekwondo has opposed the attack of the Russian army on Ukraine. Earlier, the International Judo Federation removed Putin from the post of honorary president.
