Russia-Ukraine Conflict: In the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Indian students who went to various cities of Ukraine to take medical degrees are also trapped. However, arrangements have been made for their salary refund by the government. The girl student, who returned to her home Junwani Bhilai from the town of Ternofil, Ukraine, shared the difficulties she faced in returning to her homeland.
Nupur Sharma, a resident of Anushka Residency Junwani Bhilai, reached her house on Tuesday night. Nupur is pursuing MBBS 4th year in Ternofil city of Ukraine. Nupur told that after the war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, Indian students living in the Ukrainian city of Ternofil started worrying about returning home. Nupur told that in view of the situation, some students including him reached Poland border on 25 February to return home. During this the temperature was minus 10 degree Celsius.
He had to walk 30 km to reach the border. In view of the low temperature and long distance, the students threw away their belongings. When Poland reached the border, there was a crowd of thousands of people there. Due to the crowd, it was felt that it may take two to three days to cross the border. There were no MBC people there, due to which no help could be found.
After this Nupur and his companions went towards the Hungarian border. The people of MBC met on the Hungarian border. Where the bus had already been arranged for them. The people of MBC got the border crossed. Moved from Hungary to Budapest. Where there was a provision of food and room in the Indian Hostel.
Situation worsens in central and western Ukraine
Nupur Sharma told that Ternofil City is much safer than other cities of Ukraine. But the situation is worse in central Ukraine and western Ukraine. According to Nupur, the condition of many Indian children living there is bad. He said that the Government of India is making continuous efforts for the return of Indians living there. On his return home, he also expressed his gratitude to the government.
Father said that the girl gave a surprise
Nupur’s father Ashok Sharma is a contactor and mother Anila Sharma is the principal of Government School Kosanala. Father Ashok Sharma said that due to the efforts of the government, his daughter has returned home safely. Ashok Sharma told that Nupur was talking continuously for the last four-five days, but he gave information regarding returning home on Tuesday evening. In this way, suddenly returning home, the daughter surprised.
