Messages have already started coming to the children from different universities. Most universities are asking children to return to Ukraine on short notice.
The children who returned home told that they are now under pressure from online classes. So that the children remain in constant contact. Do not try for admission in any other medical university. The maximum mental pressure is being created on those children who are first year students or who recently took admission a few months back. Since such children are not likely to suffer much, their parents may consider getting them admitted elsewhere. The children have left all their household items in different cities of Ukraine. However, he has brought the necessary documents with him only.
Suvi Gupta: She is a student of Ivano Frankwisch National Medical University. They say that they had spoken to the Embassy for the advisory from the first week of February, but the embassy said that your university will decide when you are to be released. If we had got cooperation in time, no child’s life would have been in danger.
Tazeen Alam: She is a student of Bogomelets National University in Kyiv. They say that before the start of the war, those people were told that if they want to go back home, then go away, but if they have an ear break, then it will be their own responsibility. In such a situation, the children were stuck in Ukraine even without wanting, for fear of wasting lakhs of rupees of their parents.
Ishika Thakur: She is a student of Onipro Medical University. They say that at first they were prevented from leaving Ukraine. His online classes continued. After this, when the situation started deteriorating, he was allowed to return to India saying that his leave was only till 30 March. As soon as they get the message, they will have to return to Ukraine within two days.
Asif Raza: He is a student of Bukovenian Medical University. They say that the war started on 24th February and their classes were going on till 23rd. After coming here, the university message has come to him that as soon as the university informs, he will have to come back to Ukraine immediately. The university administration is also talking about starting online classes for those people soon.
