Raipur (State Bureau). Russia-Ukraine Conflict: To help the people trapped in Ukraine, Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has written a letter to all the MPs of Chhattisgarh. Jaishankar wrote in his letter – The relatives of the people trapped in Ukraine are contacting the MPs. The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a number on which direct help can be sought. If any MP wants to write a letter to help any person, then a separate email has been issued for him.
Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey said that apart from Ukraine, the Ministry of External Affairs has also issued numbers to help those trapped in Romania, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. The Ministry of External Affairs has also issued WhatsApp numbers 9871288796 and 9810229322. MP Pandey said that every inquiry is being answered by the Ministry of External Affairs.
More than 80 students of Chhattisgarh are stuck in Ukraine. Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said that exemplary initiatives are being taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine. A delegation of four ministers is being sent to Ukraine to bring Indian students.
In this, Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia Romania, Kiran Rijiju Moldova, Hardeep Singh Puri Hungary and Retired General VK Singh will visit Poland and monitor Operation Ganga. In the case of Chief Minister taking photographs with the students who returned from Ukraine, Kaushik said that Chief Minister Baghel is only doing politics and is indulging in the politics of getting credit. The people of the state know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs are working towards bringing the students to Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh BJP formed team to help
Chhattisgarh BJP has also constituted a two-member committee to help the people of the state trapped in Ukraine and neighboring countries. In the committee, former district president of Raipur, Rajiv Agarwal and state executive member Pritesh Gandhi have been entrusted with the responsibility. Both the leaders have been instructed to communicate with the relatives of the trapped students and send their problems to the central organization.
Pritesh Gandhi said that till now the relatives of about 20 students of Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Raigad have contacted, for whose help the initiative has been taken.
Governor and Chief Minister expressed grief over the death of an Indian student in Ukraine
Raipur (v.). State Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel have condoled the death of an Indian student in war-torn Ukraine. Expressing his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, he has wished all Indian citizens to return home safely.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that the news of the death of an Indian student in Ukraine is very sad. The whole nation is with the family members of the student in this agony. May God give strength to his parents and loved ones to bear this difficult time.
Baghel has said that the entire country is appealing to the Government of India to expedite efforts to bring back Indians from Ukraine at this time. The name of the student who died in Ukraine is Naveen and he was a resident of Karnataka.
