The government is watching the situation. Along with this, the Indian citizens living there have been told that wherever they are, they should stay there. The nearly 18,000 students living there in particular were a cause for concern. The government also sent Air India flights. Some students returned, but some stayed there.
Now these students are stuck there. It is feared that these students may have to face trouble there. News agency ANI quoted sources in the Ministry of External Affairs as saying that we are closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation. The attention is being paid to the safety of Indians, especially the students. The control room of the Ministry of External Affairs is being expanded and made operational on 24×7 basis.

Russia-Ukraine war: India clarified its stand
India cleared its stand in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations TS Tirumurti said the Indian government had called for de-escalation in the past and emphasized on diplomacy to resolve all issues relating to the situation. Tirumurti said, “However, we say with regret that the calls of the international community to de-escalate the tension were not heeded by both the sides.” The situation is in danger of escalating into a major crisis.
