Sharad Pawar gave a blow on Adani issue
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar on Friday made a statement contrary to the stand of most opposition parties on the Adani issue. In an interview to a news channel, Pawar said that I am not completely against JPC. JPC has been formed many times before this. I have also been the chairman of some of these. Actually, the JPC will be formed on the basis of majority (in Parliament). The number of the ruling party is more. There are a total of 21 members in the JPC. According to the strength of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the JPC will have a total of 15 people from the ruling BJP. Only 6 or 7 people will be from the opposition. In such a situation, how will the opposition be able to stand in front of the ruling parties. Due to less number of members of the opposition and more number of ruling party, doubt remains in fair investigation. Pawar further said that I fully respect the opinion of the opposition party. When several parties come together, there may be differences of opinion.
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole clearly said that Sharad Pawar’s opinion may be different, but the Congress demands that there should be a JPC inquiry into the Adani scam. In the Rajya Sabha, Uddhav Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that Pawar’s statement will not cause any rift in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Pawar has not given any clean chit to Adani. Rather, he has given his opinion that how to investigate?

Ajit Pawar’s stand on EVM is different
There is a trend in Indian politics to blame the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) after an electoral defeat. However, Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar has given a clean chit to the EVMs ahead of the proposed Lok Sabha elections next year. On Saturday, Ajit Pawar said that ‘the one who loses blames the EVM’. If there was a problem with EVMs, then how did AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) win Delhi and Punjab, how did KCR win in Telangana, how did Jagan’s government form in Andhra Pradesh and how did Congress win Rajasthan and Mamata Banerjee win West Bengal? However, a few hours later, a press release was issued by the NCP mentioning the doubts of Sharad Pawar and other opposition leaders regarding the EVMs.
‘…so is it not the magic of PM Modi’
When asked about NCP’s different stand on the issue of PM Modi’s degree and Veer Savarkar, Pawar said that the party which earlier had only two MPs in the name of PM Modi reached out to remote areas and came to power with absolute majority. So is this not the magic of PM Modi? Pawar said the same was repeated in 2019 as well. So what is the use of bringing out all these issues after nine years? It is important that people see their work.
‘Leaders leaving Congress because of Rahul’
Veteran politician Ghulam Nabi Azad quit the Congress in August last year. Now he has come up with his autobiography. Recently, while promoting the same, he told Ghulam Nabi Azad the reasons for his disenchantment with the Congress. When Azad was asked if he was not in Congress because of Rahul Gandhi, he replied,Yes, I am not alone…at least half a dozen more, both young and old leaders…once you go to Congress you become spineless…you have to get operated.,
Ghulam Nabi Azad said one more thing. He told that now Sonia Gandhi does not take decisions in the Congress. When asked whether Sonia asked him to return, Azad replied,I wish if it was in Sonia Gandhi’s hands, we would not have come here… Sonia Gandhi cannot decide. When Azad was saying this, Congress’s Anand Sharma and Janardan Dwivedi were present in front of him.

Families of Khanti Congressmen are getting away
The dissatisfaction that Azad is talking about is also visible in the leaders who left the Congress after him. The BJP, engaged in expansion in the south ahead of the general elections, shocked the Congress for the third day in a row. CR Kesavan, former Congress leader and great-grandson of independent India’s first Governor-General C Rajagopalachari, joined the BJP on Saturday. Kesavan left the Congress in February this year. On Friday, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and former Congress leader N Kiran Kumar Reddy joined the BJP. Earlier on Thursday, Anil Antony, son of former Kerala Chief Minister AK Antony, joined the BJP. The joining of three Congress leaders in the South in three days in the BJP is being considered as a major setback for the Congress.
‘Working for a family is the religion of Congressmen’
Anil Antony, son of senior Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister AK Antony, joined the BJP on Thursday. As soon as he joined BJP, Anil Antony targeted the Congress and said, nowadays Congress leaders and workers feel that their religion is to work for a family. My religion is to work for the nation. His father AK Antony said that he is hurt by Anil’s decision to join BJP.

Rahul’s tweet on those who leave
In a tweet on Saturday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also targeted those leaders who left the Congress and joined the BJP. Rahul has added the names of those leaders along with the spelling of Adani’s name and has said that they hide the truth and therefore mislead them everyday. The question remains the same – who has ₹20,000 crore benami money in Adani’s companies? A picture has been shared on Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter. It includes Ghulam (Nabi Azad) with letter ‘A’ of Adani, Scindia (Jyotiraditya) with letter ‘B’, Kiran (Reddy) with ‘A’, Himanta (Biswa Sarma) with ‘N’ and Anil (Antony) is written with ‘I’.

Mamta walking on a different path than before
Many opposition parties are hesitating to join hands with the Congress, so there is a reason behind it, Rahul. Last month, in an internal meeting of the Trinamool Congress, Mamta fiercely targeted Rahul. According to media reports, Mamta had said that no one would be able to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi if Rahul Gandhi was the face of the opposition. Describing Rahul as ‘PM Modi’s biggest TRP’, Mamta had said that BJP wants to make Rahul Gandhi a hero. According to the TMC chief, the Congress party “bows down” to the fire of the BJP.
‘Rahul let Himanta go’
The BJP made Himanta Biswa Sarma, who left the Congress, the Chief Minister of Assam. Sarma had blamed Rahul’s behavior while leaving the Congress. He was neither the first nor the last leader who had a problem with Rahul’s attitude. Describing Rahul as ‘morally corrupt’, Himanta also wrote an article in a newspaper in the past. Recently, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that he had told Rahul Gandhi that Himanta can leave the party, to which Rahul said, ‘Let it go’.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s ADANI tweet, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “It was our decency that we never asked you where you hid the proceeds of crime from the Bofors and National Herald scams and how many times you called Ottavio Quattrocchi an Indian.” Escaped from the clutches of justice. Either way we will meet in the court of law.
Angry Scindia also went, now attacking Rahul
Jyotiraditya Scindia is today a minister in the central government. Like Himanta, he too got angry and parted ways with the Congress. He usually avoided speaking directly against Rahul but is no longer silent. This week, Scindia criticized the Congress for giving special treatment to Rahul Gandhi even after he was convicted in a defamation case and accused the judiciary of exerting pressure.
Scindia claimed that the Congress was projecting Rahul Gandhi’s personal legal battle as a fight for democracy. He said that she is leaving no stone unturned to play with democracy and stoop to the lowest level. He said that some people are first class citizens for Congress. He said that a Congress leader had claimed that the normal legal process should not be applied to the Gandhi family.
In response, Pawan Kheda, the head of the media department of the Congress, said, ‘Scindia laughs when he talks like this. Those who change party, change their views to make themselves politically relevant, those people are lecturing us on what should be done to become politically relevant. The Congress leader said that this is completely a fight to save democracy. Scindia will not understand this, he has newly joined BJP.
