Lucknow . Shivpal, MLA from Jaswant Nagar on Samajwadi Party ticket, is angry with his nephew Akhilesh Yadav these days. That’s why suddenly his love for BJP has started increasing. Shivpal Singh Yadav has followed PM Modi on Twitter. Apart from this, he has also followed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma. His move has once heated up the market of discussions.
Earlier Shivpal Singh Yadav used to follow the Prime Minister and CMO only. Shipwal Singh Yadav is now following these leaders personally.
Even before the 2017 assembly elections in UP, he formed his new party due to his growing sourness with the top leadership of the Samajwadi Party. Now after the 2022 assembly elections, he is again on a new path.
Earlier, former cabinet minister Shivpal Singh Yadav met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday after taking oath as an MLA in the Assembly. He described the meeting as a courtesy call. He also said that he will speak when the time comes. Shivpal said that there was a courtesy call on the Chief Minister. Said on future decision that when the time comes, it will be disclosed. Due to this mysterious statement of Shivpal, the discussion started in the political corridors.
It is to be known that Akhilesh Yadav has fielded Shivpal Singh Yadav from Jaswantnagar in Etawah for the assembly elections. National President of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia Shivpal Singh Yadav contested from Jaswantnagar as SP candidate and won by a huge margin of votes. After this, when SP did not invite him to the legislature party meeting, his attitude started getting bitter. Shivpal Singh Yadav, who skipped the meeting of allies of the Samajwadi Party on March 28, took oath as a member of the Assembly in the Speaker’s room on March 29 and asked the media to wait for its next move.
The discussion of Shivpal Yadav changing sides is gaining momentum. There are speculations in the political circles that BJP may send Shivpal to Rajya Sabha and Jaswantnagar seat to his son Aditya Yadav. This time Shivpal has won for the sixth time from his traditional Jaswantnagar seat on the SP symbol. Keshav Prasad Maurya had commented on Shivpal Yadav for joining the BJP. UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had raised the suspense by saying that there is no such vacancy in BJP at present. Describing Shivpal’s meeting with Chief Minister Yogi as normal, he said that any leader of the opposition can meet him.
It is to be known that after forging an alliance with the SP, Shivpal was hopeful that the leaders of his party would also get tickets. He also handed over the list of some leaders to Akhilesh. But Akhilesh did not give the ticket. In such a situation, many PSP leaders went to other parties, accusing them of neglect. But, most joined them in the election campaign. Even after this, they are seeing Shivpal as their neglect for not being invited to the meeting of the Legislature Board.
