Durg (Chhattisgarh). Eleven people have died and more than 30 have been injured when a bus fell into a mine in Durg district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Police officials gave this information. Officials said that eleven people traveling in the vehicle died and about 38 others were injured after the bus fell into a 50 feet deep mine of Murom (red soil) near Khapri village under Kumhari police station area.
He told that the bus of Kedia Distilleries located in Kumhari area had left with the employees and about 45 employees were on board the bus. Officials said that the incident took place at 8.30 pm on Tuesday night when the bus reached near Khapri village and went out of control and fell into the Murum mine.
According to the police, after getting information about the incident, a police team was sent to the spot and rescue operations were started. He said that the dead bodies and injured have been sent to the hospital and efforts are being made to take out the bus from the mine.
