A shocking case of sextortion has come to light from Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. A married girl from Kushinagar district had come to her maternal uncle’s house in a village in Maharajganj Kotwali police station area and a heart-wrenching incident happened with her there. A young man, who knew the girl from her uncle’s house, threatened to make the obscene video viral and then took her to Kanpur and raped her for 15 days in a hotel.
A married woman was blackmailed and raped in a hotel for 15 days.
In the statement given to the police, the victim told that she is a resident of Ahirauli area of Kushinagar district. The girl’s husband works abroad. She came to her uncle’s house in Maharajganj on July 10. On the afternoon of September 2, a young man from the neighboring village reached his maternal uncle’s house and called him outside. When the girl came out, the young man started pressurizing her for physical relations by showing her obscene photos on his mobile and threatened to send the photos to her in-laws.
Out of fear, the girl went to Kanpur with the young man, where he had already booked a room with bad intentions and raped her for 15 days. On September 17, the youth brought him to Gorakhpur, where the youth’s parents had already reached by car. The young man’s mother took the girl to her parents’ house in Pipraich area in the car and started pressurizing her for marriage. On refusal, they were brought to the outpost collectorate under Maharajganj police station where the girl’s maternal uncle and mother were called and sent home.
