Czech Republic’s largest car maker Skoda is preparing to enter the Indian electric vehicle market soon. For this, the company has also planned to launch a new electric car in the country soon.
Which electric car will be introduced?
The electric car that Skoda is preparing to introduce first in India will be named Enyaq. It will be a Fully Built Unit (FBU).
When will it be launched in the country?
Giving information on Thursday, Skoda Auto India Brand Director Zack Hollis said that in 2023, the company is preparing to launch its first electric car Enyaq in India. Work has already started for this.

Large electric brand in the country to be established by 2025
Zack Hollis further stated that the company wants to establish a large electric vehicle brand in India by 2025. In such a situation, with the launch of Enyaq electric car in 2023, the company is preparing to start testing for its electric brand in India. Enyaq has been introduced globally only in September 2021.

The Skoda Enyaq will get multiple battery pack options. With a 55kWh battery pack, the car will get a driving range of 340 km on a single charge. At the same time, the car will get a driving range of 390 km in a single charge from the 62kWh battery pack. With the third option 82kWh battery pack, the car will get a driving range of 510 km in a single charge.
