Most parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received the first snowfall of the season. Seeing the snowfall, the faces of tourists as well as tourism entrepreneurs, farmers and gardeners have lit up. Tourists are reaching hill stations to enjoy snowfall. The situation is such that many tourists are not able to even get free rooms to stay in hotels. Apart from this, long traffic jams are also being seen on the roads.
Today we will tell you which areas will be beneficial for tourists to visit at this time, so that they can enjoy snowfall.
First of all let’s talk about Himachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh, snowfall occurred in areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Kullu, Shimla, Mandi, Kangra, Solan, Sirmaur and Chamba districts. Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur have received maximum snowfall.
There was considerable snowfall in Kullu and Shimla also. While the higher reaches of Chamba received more snowfall, the lower areas received less snowfall. There was snowfall only in some areas of Mandi, Kangra, Sirmaur and Solan.
This is not the right time to see snowfall in Lahaul-Spiti. Due to bad road conditions in front of Rohtang, tourists may face difficulty in reaching there. You can definitely visit Solangnala, Koksar, Rohtang and Sisu in the upper part of Manali. But here you will also find heavy traffic on the road. Apart from this, the roads are also slippery due to snow.
Snowfall was observed in the hilly plains of Shimla including Kufri, Narkanda and Rohru. Tourists can also visit these areas easily. But tourists have to be very careful about parking here. Because there is no dearth of hotels in Shimla. But here tourists always have to face the problem of parking.
Talking about the coasts, Chitkul, Rakcham, Sangla, Rakong Po and Kalpa have received heavy snowfall. It is not advisable to go abroad at this time. The reason is the dangerous hilly area here. These areas are 12 hours away from Shimla. Heavy snowfall occurred in Pangi and Bharmour of Chamba.
If you want to travel, you can visit Chhota Bhangal in Naddi (McLeodganj) and Dharamshala in Kangra. You can also enjoy snowfall in Chail area of Solan. Whereas areas above Mandi like Theog, Kamrunag Temple and Shikari Devi have received snowfall. But it is not safe to go here at this time.
At the same time, there has been snowfall in Churdhar of Sirmaur along with Nauhradhar and Haripurdhar. These are good places for trekking. But going here during snowfall will not be so good.
It has snowed here in Uttarakhand
Now we will talk about Uttarakhand. Snowfall occurred in Garhwali, Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, Srinagar, Harsil, Lokhandi, Sukki Top and Oli areas of Uttarakhand. There was snowfall on the peaks of Almora, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat and Nainital of Kumaon region.
There was definitely snowfall on Lal Tibba, Gunhill, Vincent Hill, George Everest of Mussoorie. But it was very little. That means the snow melted immediately after snowfall. Yes, but hopefully it will snow here again soon. The weather department has expressed the possibility of snowfall here.
The biggest problem you will face in Mussoorie will be hotel booking and parking. Tourists come here mostly on weekends. Due to which hotels are getting full.
There was snowfall on the tourist places of Chakrata region including Lokhandi, Budher, Moila Top, Kanasar, Devvan, Khandaba and Mundali and the surrounding peaks. You can also plan to visit these areas
