Preparations for the Lok Sabha elections are in full swing. Most of the parties have fielded their candidates on most of the seats. The names of candidates for some seats have not yet been decided by some parties. In the Lok Sabha elections, glamor is being seen at some places and muscle power at other places. Some have fielded film stars as candidates while many cases and litigations are registered against the candidates of some parties. However, the Congress party has also given election tickets to the family members of its own leaders. Many names are included in this list. The Congress party has fielded family members of its senior leaders as candidates from different Lok Sabha seats.
Relatives will contest elections on Congress ticket
- In view of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress Party has made Gaurav Gogoi its candidate from Jorhat, Assam. Let us tell you that Gaurav Gogoi is the son of former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi.
- Congress has also given ticket to the son of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Let us tell you that Kamal Nath’s son Nakul Nath is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat of Madhya Pradesh.
- Virendra Rawat, son of former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat, has also got the ticket. Congress has made Virendra Rawat its candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat of Uttarakhand.
- Congress has made Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader P. Chidambaram, its candidate from Shivamogga Lok Sabha seat in Tamil Nadu.
- Congress party has made Radhakrishna Dodamani its candidate from Gulburga Lok Sabha seat. Let us tell you that Radhakrishna Dodamani is the son-in-law of Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge.
- The Congress party has also fielded the daughter of former Union Minister Sushil Shinde as its candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. Praniti Shinde has been made the Congress candidate from Solapur seat of Maharashtra.
- K was a former Union Minister in the Congress government. Rehman Khan’s son has also been made a candidate by Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. The party has declared Mansoor Ali Khan as its candidate from Bengaluru Central.
