Malvika Sood, sister of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who did a lot of work for the common man during the Corona period, has joined the Congress. On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu reached Malvika Sood’s house and took oath to make her a member of Congress. Sonu Sood was also present during this. But Sonu Sood did not come to the dias with Chief Minister Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Elections are due in Punjab on 14th of next month. One-phase polling in Punjab will be held on February 14 and the results will be declared on March 10. Malvika Sood may contest from Moga in Punjab. Last month, Sonu Sood held a press conference near Chandigarh in which he announced that he would contest the election of his sister Malvika. But in the meantime, he also met the Chief Minister of Punjab, Channi. Then there was turmoil in Punjab politics and there was speculation that Malvika would join the Congress.
38-year-old Malavika Sood is the youngest sister of actor Sonu Sood. His elder sister Monica Sharma lives in America. Malvika, who studies computer engineering, runs an English coaching center in Moga. He has also worked in the field of education, employment and health in Moga.
