Aircraft diverted due to technical fault
Spicejet flight has been diverted due to technical glitch. According to information received from sources on Saturday, the SpiceJet aircraft coming to Patna has been diverted to Varanasi after some brake problem. The aircraft was coming from Delhi to Patna and was scheduled to land at Patna airport at 8.30 am on Friday.

Pilot refused to land at Patna airport citing short runway
But a problem with the brakes of the flight was reported at Arrah, about 50 km from Patna. ATC cleared the plane to land at Patna Jay Prakash Narayan International airport but the pilot rejected it and diverted the plane to Varanasi as Patna airport’s runway is short.
The technical glitch was rectified there after which the flight reached Patna at 11.30 am. Passengers have expressed grief in this matter.
