Whereas Hyderabad scored 277 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs due to the stormy innings of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen. Before this, no team had made such a big score in 20 overs.
Abhishek Sharma scored the fastest fifty for Sunrisers Hyderabad
Abhishek Sharma, batting at number three in the match against Mumbai Indians, played a quick inning of 63 runs. During this, Abhishek Sharma hit 3 fours and 7 sixes. During his innings, Abhishek Sharma faced only 16 balls to reach his half-century, after which he also made the record of scoring the fastest fifty for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

South African fast bowler Kwena Mafaka got a chance to debut in the IPL at the age of 17. Quena has been included in the Mumbai Indians team as a replacement for Dilshan Madushanka. Rohit Sharma has become the first player to play 200 matches as a player for Mumbai Indians. With this, Rohit is the third player to play 200 matches for a team in IPL. Former Indian team player Irfan Pathan has targeted Hardik Pandya over his strike rate after Mumbai Indians lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad. While tweeting after the match, Irfan wrote that while on one hand the rest of the batsmen of the team are scoring runs with a strike rate of 200 or more, then in that situation the captain of the team cannot score runs with a strike rate of 120.
