Share Market News: The Indian stock market closed with a slight gain on Wednesday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex closed at 73,852.94 with a gain of 0.16 percent or 114.49 points. At the time of market closing, out of 30 Sensex shares, 17 shares were on the green mark and 13 shares were on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty closed at 22,402.40 on Wednesday with a gain of 0.15 percent or 34.40 points. At the time of market closing, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 30 shares were on the green mark and 20 shares were on the red mark.
There was a rise in these shares
Among the Nifty pack shares, the biggest rise was recorded in Hindalco by 4.09 per cent, JSW Steel by 3.84 per cent, Cipla by 3.81 per cent, Tata Steel by 2.85 per cent and Power Grid by 1.66 per cent. At the same time, the maximum decline was recorded in Tata Consumer by 5.24 percent, Bajaj Auto by 1.28 percent, Grasim by 1.23 percent, HDFC Life by 1.09 percent and TCS by 1.07 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the highest rise of 1.39 per cent was recorded in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare on Wednesday. Apart from this, Nifty Oil & Gas fell by 0.59 per cent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.93 per cent, Nifty Healthcare by 1.30 per cent, Nifty Realty by 0.83 per cent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.47 per cent, Nifty Pharma by 0.73 per cent, Nifty Metal by 2.67 per cent, Nifty Financial Services recorded 0.52 percent, Nifty Bank recorded 0.48 percent and Nifty FMCG recorded 0.09 percent. Apart from this, the biggest decline was recorded in Nifty IT by 0.66 percent. Apart from this, Nifty IT fell by 0.66 percent, Nifty Media fell by 0.31 percent, Nifty PSU Bank fell by 0.22 percent.
