Yogi Adityanath has become the CM for the second time in Uttar Pradesh, but many faces have been changed in the government. 22 ministers have been removed and Brajesh Pathak has been brought in place of Dinesh Sharma, who was deputy CM. He is also being discussed the most in the new government of Yogi Adityanath, the reason for this is that Brajesh Pathak is not a leader of Sangh or BJP background. In such a situation, leaving behind all the Khanty BJP leaders and becoming their Deputy CM has become a matter of discussion. It is said about Brajesh Pathak that he is a leader who senses the wind direction very well. Brajesh Pathak, who was once in the Congress, left the BSP and joined the BJP in 2016. Now only 6 years have passed and he has become the Deputy CM of the state.
Interestingly, at one point of time he was close to Vinay Tiwari, son of Harishankar Tiwari, who is said to be Yogi Adityanath’s arch rival. In 1989, he became the Vice-President of Lucknow University and then became the student union president in 1990. It is said that Vinay Tiwari had helped him completely in this election. Both were very close friends in student life and then in the early phase of politics. Vinay Tiwari said in a conversation with Economic Times that perhaps Brajesh Pathak is the first leader who does not come from BJP background and has achieved such a big post. He says that even though Brajesh Pathak is not popular, he is good in the organization. But most importantly, he has always been a good meteorologist.
Harishankar Tiwari’s family did not have the same status as before
Brajesh Pathak and Vinay Tiwari were simultaneously associated with BSP. Vinay Tiwari had joined the SP just before this election. Harishankar Tiwari, once the face of Brahmin politics in Gorakhpur and its surrounding districts, and his family’s reputation is no longer the same. At the same time, Brajesh Pathak has been included in the Yogi cabinet as a Brahmin face. Earlier in 2017, he was also made the Law Minister in his own government. Brajesh Pathak’s father, a resident of Mallawan, Hardoi, was a homeopathic doctor. From here he also contested the first assembly election in 2002, but was defeated by a margin of just 150 votes.
Brajesh Pathak was one of the leaders close to Mayawati
After this he recognized the wind direction and joined BSP. Due to which he contested from Unnao Lok Sabha seat and reached Delhi after winning. At that time, Mayawati had started talking about Sarvajan by moving ahead of Bahujan. After this victory, he joined Mayawati’s close leaders. In 2009, he also went to the Rajya Sabha, but after the defeat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he once again understood that the days of BSP are also gone. Then he joined BJP in 2016.
