New Delhi. The second qualifier match of IPL 2024 is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals (SRH vs RR). Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first which seems to be proving effective for them. Sunrisers Hyderabad came out to bat first and lost 3 wickets early. This feat was done by Trent Boult for Rajasthan.
Trent Bolt bowled brilliantly as soon as he came for Rajasthan. The first 3-4 balls were bad for him. But in the first over, he dismissed the in-form opener Abhishek Sharma. Abhishek was dismissed after scoring 12 runs off 5 balls. After this, Rahul Tripathi, who was in form, was also dismissed by Trent Bolt in the fourth over. Rahul played an innings of 37 runs in 15 balls. But he was caught out by Yuzvendra Chahal. Aiden Markram lost his wicket on the last ball of the fourth over. He was caught out by Chahal.
SRH’s condition was similar against KKR too
The condition of Sunrisers Hyderabad was similar against KKR in Qualifier 1. Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first. But Starc was the first to attack this decision of Australia’s Cummins. Mitchell Starc shook the foundations of Sunrisers Hyderabad by taking 3 wickets in the powerplay. After the powerplay, Hyderabad’s score was 45 runs for 4 wickets. However, Hyderabad’s score against Rajasthan is 68 runs for 3 wickets.
