The Supreme Court on Friday invited applications for appointment to the post of Senior Advocate from retired Chief Justices, Judges of High Courts, Advocates on Record and Advocates.
Applications for the post of Senior Advocates will have to be submitted before the Chief Justice as per the prescribed format on March 21, 2022 by 4:30 PM in the Secretariat of the Committee.
In a notice it has been clarified that retired Chief Justices, Judges of High Courts, Advocates on Record and Advocates, whose earlier applications were not considered favourably. All of them are also eligible to apply for appointment to the post of Senior Advocate. Retired Chief Justice, Judges of High Courts, Advocates on Record and Advocates who have submitted applications before the date of publication of this notice will now have to apply afresh.
