Varanasi. In the Gyanvapi case, the survey started again on Saturday to know the status of other deities including the adornment Gauri. This survey will continue on this Sunday as well. During the survey in the presence of Advocate Commissioner, the entire team inspected each and every thing closely.
This time, Special Court Commissioner Vishal Singh and Assistant Court Commissioner Ajay Pratap Singh were also accompanied by Court Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra. To bring out the truth of Varanasi’s Gyanvapi complex, on the orders of the court, the survey proceedings started again in the presence of all the parties. The first day’s survey ended on Saturday. During the survey in the presence of Advocate Commissioner, the entire team inspected each and every thing closely. Advocate Commissioner Ajay Mishra and more than 50 people from the plaintiff-respondent side went inside the premises.
Special cameras and lights were arranged for videography of the entire complex. There was heavy security around the Gyanvapi campus. The DGP and the Chief Secretary monitored the entire matter. Alert continued in Varanasi Commissionerate regarding Gyanvapi survey. Social media is being monitored. All the shops around the temple remained closed. The road leading to Gyanvapi from Madagin and Godaulia was closed to the general public. Baba’s devotees got entry into the temple from gate number one. The Kashi Vishwanath Dham area remained a cantonment.
After coming out of Gyanvapi campus, the court commissioner and other advocates did not speak anything in front of the media. There is a court order, so the survey team refused to give any information related to the survey in front of the media. The police sent everyone from Kashi Vishwanath Dham by sitting in vehicles.
District Magistrate Kaushalraj Sharma said that on the orders of the court, the action of the court commission was taken from 8 am to 12 noon on Saturday morning in and around the Gyanvapi Masjid complex. During this, the plaintiff-defendant parties, their advocates and officials of the temple and district administration were present. He said that all the parties complied with the order of the court. The survey work was completed peacefully. All the parties are satisfied. After four consecutive hours of survey, more than 50 percent of the survey work has been done.
Varanasi Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh said, “The survey work went on peacefully. There was no obstruction by any side. Everything is normal. We (Commissioner of Police and District Magistrate) are closely monitoring the survey work. “
Raees Ahmed, advocate for Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee, submitted that the commission’s proceedings were completed partially (about 50 per cent) in a cordial atmosphere. Rest of the proceedings will be completed tomorrow. Everyone got full cooperation. Advocates Sudhir Tripathi and Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi for the plaintiffs say that there was full cooperation from all the parties. Neither side created any obstruction. For the smooth conduct of the proceedings, proper arrangements were made by the administration from security to spot lights, scavengers etc.
It is to be known that while hearing the matter, the court has ordered a fresh survey. The report of the matter is to be presented in the court on May 17. The survey proceedings, starting from Saturday, will continue from 8 am to 12 noon every day till May 16.
