BJP MP Tejashwi Surya has demanded immediate action in the recent encounter with shopkeeper Mukesh. Surya alleged that despite filing a complaint with the police, the FIR was not registered immediately. According to him, “It was only after the intervention of me and PC Mohan that local BJP leaders intervened and then the FIR was registered.” The police have arrested only three people in this case, while our demand is for the immediate arrest of all the suspects seen in the CCTV footage, this case should be thoroughly and impartially investigated.”
