Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao underwent a medical examination on Friday after complaining of weakness and pain in his left arm, which revealed that he did not have any cardiac problems. His personal doctor gave this information. After spending a few hours at Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda here, the chief minister later returned to his official residence after being prescribed medicine by doctors and advised a week’s rest.
The CM’s personal physician, Dr. MV Rao, told reporters that the angiogram test showed that he did not have any heart-related problems. He said that the pain in the left arm could be due to pressure on the nerves due to cervical spondylosis.
Chief Cardiologist Pramod Kumar said that after complaining of weakness and pain in the left arm, he checked up the CM with Dr. Rao. After a preliminary check-up, he suggested that she come to the hospital for a coronary angiogram and other tests.
He said, “I have had an angiogram. Fortunately, it did not show any significant problems. He had to undergo other tests like MRI of brain and MRI of neck which showed mild changes which are common to everyone at this age “
The doctors said that they have also done other tests, which they regularly do every year and all of them have found normal results.
Dr. Pramod Kumar said, “We have given some medicines and advised one week rest. After a week he will resume his normal activities.”
Of. Chandrashekhar Rao, also known as KCR, was accompanied by his wife Shobha Rao, son and cabinet minister K. T. Rama Rao, daughter and MLA K. Kavita and other family members were also there.
Following ill-health, KCR has canceled his visit to the Yadadri temple. He was scheduled to participate in some rituals at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.
The chief minister had also planned a meeting later this month to review arrangements for reopening the temple for devotees after the renovation.
