According to the police, the child named Ibadat had gone to the mosque to offer namaz last Sunday. He went missing while returning after offering Namaz. Badlapur police station says that accused Salman and Ibadat knew each other. Police believe that Ibadat was lured by Salman and Safuan and he went away with them. After kidnapping Ibadat, the accused called his family and demanded a ransom of Rs 23 lakh. He also said that he needed money to build a house. Ibadat’s family members then complained to the police. After which the police was searching for the child and the kidnappers.
