More than 300 farmers and women gathered in the fair ground for not providing facilities and employment to the affected farmers by the cement company and took out a rally till the SDM office and expressed their anger. After this, a memorandum in the name of Prime Minister and Industries Minister was handed over to SDM Shivangi Joshi.
It was mentioned in the memorandum that 233 hectares of land of about 165 farmers was acquired by UltraTech Cement Company for 30 years. The member of the affected family was to be provided permanent job in the company, pension of five thousand per month to old persons, free education, housing etc., but it has not been given till now. Due to this the youth of the area are roaming unemployed.
The transportation of goods from the company’s mining plant to the company is done with the help of lease, the sound of which is also reaching the surrounding rural people, due to which they are getting disturbed. When the affected family members of the area go to the company to seek employment, false assurance is given by the company official.
