Swami Prasad Maurya (Fazilnagar)
Swami Prasad Maurya, who left BJP and joined SP, is trailing from Fazilnagar assembly seat. Here he is facing tough competition from Surendra Kumar Kushwaha of BJP. Surendra is currently leading and is leading by more than two thousand votes over Maurya. BSP’s Ilyas is in third position from this seat.
Dara Singh Chauhan (Ghosi)
Dara Singh Chauhan had also left the BJP before the elections and rode on the Samajwadi Party’s cycle. SP has fielded him from the Ghosi assembly seat. However, he is trailing behind BJP’s Vijay Kumar Rajbhar in the counting of votes so far. BSP’s Wasim Iqbal Elias Chunnu is leading on the third spot.
Dharam Singh Saini (Nakur)
Not only the SP, but the credibility of its candidate Dharam Singh Saini is at stake in the Nakul assembly seat of Saharanpur. Saini, who left the BJP and joined the SP, is maintaining a huge lead in this seat. Till now Dharam Singh Saini is leading by double votes over BJP’s Mukesh Chaudhary. Bhagwati Prasad (Ghatampur)
BJP rebel Bhagwati Prasad is contesting from Ghatampur on SP ticket. Bhagwati seems to be lagging behind in the counting of votes so far. From here Saroj of BJP’s ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) is leading. The difference between the two remains around three thousand seats. BSP’s Prashant Ahirwar is at number three.
Brijesh Prajapati (Banda)
Brajesh Kumar Prajapati, who switched from BJP to SP, seems to be lagging behind in the counting of votes. From this seat, he is facing tough competition from BJP’s Ramesh Nishad. So far, Ramesh has got more than 29 thousand votes, while SP’s Brajesh Prajapati has got more than 15 thousand votes. The BSP is also at the third position here.
Roshan Lal Verma (Tilhar)
This time Roshan Lal Verma, who is contesting on SP ticket, is leading from Tilhar assembly seat. Here BJP’s Salona Kushwaha is at number two and BSP’s Nawab Faizan Ali Khan is running on the third corner.
