Dhaka. Teams are being announced continuously for the ICC T20 World Cup. Bangladesh announced its 15-member squad on Tuesday 14 May. Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who played the first T20 World Cup in 2007, has also been included in the team. The command of the team will be in the hands of Nazmul Hussain Shanto while injured fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has been made the vice captain.
Bowler Taskin Ahmed was on Tuesday included in Bangladesh’s squad for next month’s T20 World Cup to be held in America and West Indies despite not fully recovering from a muscle strain. Taskin suffered the injury before the fifth T20 International against Zimbabwe last week. He has also been made the vice captain. Before getting injured, Taskin had taken eight wickets in four matches of the series at an economy rate of 4.56.
