Hyderabad. A passenger has been arrested for trying to open the door of an aircraft mid-air during a flight from Indore to Hyderabad, police said on Friday. The incident took place on May 21, police said. Police said the 29-year-old passenger allegedly tried to open the door during the flight and argued with airline staff minutes before the plane landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here.
Police said that after the plane landed at RGIA, the airline staff lodged a complaint against the passenger, based on which a case was registered against him and he was arrested. A police officer from the RGI Airport police station said on Friday that the accused is allegedly suffering from ‘health problems’. His medical report has been submitted.
Keeping this in mind, he was granted bail from the police station. Police said that the passenger, a resident of Chandragirinagar, had gone to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh with his friend and boarded a flight from Indore to Hyderabad.
