The other member came from a thousand kilometers away. After that, he reached the polling station with his 110 year old mother Mani Devi and voted. The enthusiasm about the festival was so much that the wives of Mani Devi as well as her sons and grandsons came to vote wearing identical and new sarees.

Mani Devi’s grandson Sandeep Joshi told that his father Bajranglal Joshi lives in Arunachal Pradesh. Uncle Surendra in Ladakh. His father Bajranglal has reached Chirawa from a distance of about 2560 kilometers and his uncle Surendra has reached Chirawa from a distance of about 1060 kilometers. Apart from this, other family members live in Bhiwadi and Jaipur. They have also come to Chirawa to vote. More than two dozen members of the family together reached the polling station located near the railway station of Chirawa town and voted.
