Dr. Vidya Gupta, scientist of Agricultural Science Center, Niamatpur, said that many nutrients like magnesium, manganese, copper and potassium are found in plum. These nutrients are very beneficial for bone health. Not only this, Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and Vitamin C are found in large quantities in plum.
Plum is beneficial for mental health
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that many elements are found in plum which provide relief from heart diseases. Nitric oxide is found in plum which controls blood flow and high blood pressure. Due to the many vitamins found in plum, it is considered good for mental health. Consuming plum on an empty stomach provides relief from acidity and other stomach problems.
Urine infection will be cured with the juice of leaves.
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that eating plum regularly cures urine infection. Not only this, adding a pinch of salt and black pepper to plum decoction and drinking it provides relief from sore throat. Its leaves are more beneficial for health than the plum fruit. Drinking the juice of fresh plum leaves mixed with lukewarm water cures urine infection. Apart from this, keeping plum leaves in water overnight and drinking it on an empty stomach in the morning helps in controlling weight.
Plum leaves are effective for wounds
Dr. Vidya Gupta told that not only this, if a paste of plum leaves is applied on boils and wounds, it helps in quick healing and reducing swelling.
