FAKE VISA SCAM: There were three passengers in Turkish Airlines flight TK-716 coming from Istanbul, who were being brought to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport amidst airline security. As soon as they reached IGI Airport, all three were handed over to the Immigration Bureau. Actually, three youths named Gurmeet Singh, Sahil Kumar and Vikram Singh were deported from Istanbul and sent to IGI Airport. At the same time, after initial interrogation, all three passengers were handed over to the airport police.
DCP Usha Ranganani of IGI Airport said that Gurmeet Singh is a resident of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar of Punjab. Whereas, Vikram Sahil and Vikram are residents of Kaithal, Haryana. Scrutiny of its documents revealed that accused Gurpeet Singh had left for Baku, Azerbaijan on November 7 from Delhi, Vikram Singh from Jaipur on November 14 and Sahil Kular from Jaipur on November 16. After reaching Baku, everyone left for Istanbul on 18 November.
After reaching Istanbul, the local Immigration Bureau refused to allow all three to enter the country. Actually, the Guyana visa possessed by these three was found to be fake. After this, Istanbul Immigration Bureau officials deported all three to Delhi. During interrogation, Sahil Kumar told that he wanted to go abroad for a better life. Kewal Singh, who lives in his own village, introduced Sahil to Udit Monga and Sagar Dabas by giving him the excuse of sending him abroad.

The deal for Guyana visa was fixed for Rs 20 lakh
DCP Usha Ranganani said that all three demanded Rs 20 lakh in exchange for sending Sahil abroad. After the deal was finalized, Sahil paid Rs 2 lakh to all three. The remaining amount was to be paid after reaching Guyana. After the revelation of the case, a team was formed under the leadership of IGI Airport SHO Vijendra Rana to arrest the three accused, which also included female sub-inspector Saroj and SI Omprakash.

All three accused who gave fake visas were arrested
Based on intelligence input, the IGI Airport Police team arrested Udit Monga from Janakpuri, Delhi. On the example of Udit, the police arrested Kewal Singh and Sagar Dabas from different places. With the arrest of all three, IGI Airport Police has successfully busted the fake visa syndicate.
