The minimum temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius, which is 5.7 degrees above the average of this season. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear skies, hot winds, intense heat, hot nights and strong hot winds on Monday. Humidity was recorded at 19 percent at 5.30 pm.
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board, the national capital’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category with 195 points at 6 pm. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor and 401 and 500 severe. The Meteorological Department has already said that the southwest monsoon will be active in Delhi NCR on or after June 27.
